Teacher’s Day in Singapore is celebrated annually on 1st September. It is a public holiday for all students from primary, secondary to Junior College. While Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 1st September, most schools conduct the Teacher’s Day festivities the previous day – that is 31st August. These include assembly programs, classroom decoration by the pupils, floral bouquet for teachers and exchanging cards amongst each other.
