What is a casket spray?

The casket spray refers to the floral arrangement that goes on top of the coffin at the wake and funeral service. Unlike the flower stands and wreathes, which are put aside from the coffin, the casket spray is positioned on the coffin itself. That explains why the casket spray is normally ordered by the immediate family members of the departed, and not friends or co-workers.
In Singapore, casket sprays are commonly used in Christian, Catholic, and some Buddhist and Taoist funerals. On the other hand, Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims rarely use casket sprays. In fact, the latter prefer other forms of floral arrangements.

Types of casket sprays

Full casket spray

A big floral arrangement that covers most parts of the coffin. It is the perfect tribute for someone who lived an incredible life. The flowers fit well on caskets of different sizes (approximately 5 to 6 feet long). Our most popular choice for immediate family. Starts at $350.

Half casket spray

It covers the upper part of the coffin. If the family wishes to see the lower part, this is the best option. Starts at $250.

Casket crown spray

A small-sized floral arrangement that is shaped like a crown. The idea is to create a simple tribute that can be seen clearly by mourners during the open coffin ceremony. Starts at $180.

Cross-shaped casket spray

An arrangement of flowers that takes the shape of a cross, suitable for Christian and Catholic funerals. The flowers include white lilies, chrysanthemums and roses. Starts at $280.

Flower and colours

Our casket sprays are designed using colour palettes that symbolise the religious faith of the departed person. They also represent the deceased's personality and ensure that the tribute matches the solemnity of the event.

White – for all funerals

White lilies, roses, orchids and chrysanthemums. Suitable for all Christian, Catholic, Buddhist and Taoist funerals. Symbolises peace, purity and respect.

Soft cream and champagne

This palette is warmer than pure white. This type is selected if the deceased had a preference for gentle flowers. Suitable for Christian funerals.

White with soft pinks and yellows

For a gentle tribute that personalises the funeral experience. Selected if the departed person loved a particular flower or colour. Popular among mothers, grandmothers and female relatives.

Customise

We allow custom colours to reflect the preferences of the deceased. Just let us know their favourite flower or colour.
